The main event will commence at 8:00am at Cricket grounds, with a renaissance cultural parade showcasing exquisite costumes from the Karamojong, Ateso, Sabiny, Bamasaaba, Bagwere, Japhadhola, Basoga, Banyoli and Samia. The parade procession will weave through the main streets of Republic, Naboa and Market to Mt. Elgon History and Cultural Museum where a series of cultural activities which include showcasing of cultural foods, dance, songs, artifacts and beauty queens. It will be ensued bt the annual Mbale City benefits concert that will start 7pm and end at about 2.00am, herein after we will have deejays up to wee hours of the morning.
